It’s been a while since our last blog post, but we have been preparing a few surprises and getting ready for a busy 2018 wedding season. What better way to kick off the blog again with our favourite types of posts - a wedding spotlight.
A couple of weeks ago we were delighted to make the short trip over to Bungay – the venue in question being the stunning Fisher Theatre run by the Bungay Arts and Theatre Society charity. The Georgian theatre building set in the heart of the town provided an exquisite setting for the wedding party of Wendy and Bob.
As has been the case in the last few weeks, the weather was not being particularly kind. However, the glamour and the sparkle of an early 20th Century Art Deco themed wedding certainly brightened the day. We were delighted to see that all their guests came dressed to match the theme, as we saw sharp suits, feather bowers and stunning embellished dresses. The venue was decorated with a lot of touches to match the theme. We were particularly impressed by the table names themed around the era including ‘Prohibition’, ‘Charleston’ and ‘Bootleggers’. The music also matched the theme as a large orchestra was assembled on the stage to play the night away.
The couple were keen to have the SnapStation Photo Booth set-up to take photos as their guests arrived to capture the stunning attire. The art deco theme, which complemented the venue, was also the perfect setting for our newest backdrop – the stunning black and gold art deco design. This was matched with our new art deco photo strip, and a range of art deco props including signs and hats. The couple and their family and friends had a great time in the booth and it was a pleasure to capture some lovely moments.
